This announcement is specially intended for all the Word Nerds.

Do you guys agree that our David isn't unique? That our David is "just another Chris Daughtry"? That our David's voice isn't distinctive? When we all know that it's all a lie?

Can we just let some random local celebrity diss our David like that? Let us let HER know how we feel.

Someone commented on my blog, he said:
"I will re-post this...and i hope everybody will do the same para it would reach Nikki Gil...kala mo kung sino sya."

So, Word Nerds, kindly re-post the message below to your blog so it would reach Nikki Gil fast.

A MESSAGE TO NIKKI GIL
(By: Raine)

"I know David Cook's fans will hate me for this."
--Nikki Gil on MYX News

Damn right.

It's not how distinctive an artist's voice is, Nikki. It's the versatility of his voice that matters.

You don't find him unique? You think he's just another Chris Daughtry? Think again, missy. Surrre you see David Cook behind Chris Daughtry's shadow, but I bet you didn't see David's ENTIRE American Idol journey. Listen, as in LISTEN CAREFULLY. David Cook's voice is DIFFERENT from Chris Daughtry's. Wayyy different. Chris' is rock-ish deep and clean while David's is husky and rough around the edges WHEN he wants it that way -- David's is clean and full of emotions WHEN he wants it that way, or when he sings ballads like Music of the Night, Lie and Permanent.

What is uniqueness to you? Don't you find the following unique?

  • Rearranging Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby from the poppy girly version to a version both men and women can enjoy?
  • Getting Hillary Clinton googoo gaga over The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face?
  • Getting Lionel Richie gobsmacked with his version of Hello?
  • Getting Diane Warren almost in tears after his performance of I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing?
  • Taking a seventeen-year-old song (All I Really Need Is You) and arranging it as if it's written in 2008?
  • Being MULTI-TALENTED?

Come on. You are in the music business too, right? A singer, a VJ and all. Think.

Don't tell me, uniqueness to you is having-the-guy-who's-almost-had-a-vocal-paralysis-in-the-American-Idol-finale. I have nothing against David Archuleta. All I'm saying is, you can't call that unique. What more can you say about Anthony Fedorov huh? The point is, it's just normal. Miracle happens once in a while.

And get this, SOMETIMES, David Archuleta can't hit the notes of his own songs. He struggles everytime he sings Crush live. Sorry! *shrugs*

David Cook sings live MAGICALLY. You want proof?

P.S.
I don't care whoever related to you reads this. Cerah (VJ finalist) is my contact, so yeah. Maybe this message is gonna reach you somehow. OH. I PMed her and asked her to show this message to you! Yay!

P.P.S.
Yes, it's your OPINION. But your opinion is wrong. David doesn't deserve to receive that opinion from you after all the hard work he did in American Idol. And you're just Nikki Gil for f*ck's sake! I would accept that opinion if it came from LEA SALONGA.

P.P.P.S.
It's the VERSATILITY of the voice that makes the artist UNIQUE!

Happy Holidays! Love,
♥ Sara... xox
