First sophie day ever!

This is it!
This is my very first post ever for the sophie days.. Second Year.. I've just gone a long way..

I don't have enough pics for the first day of school, because for today I've only got one! And I don't see any other new face this year - they all look very familiar to me. Though there were three returning students this year, there's only one totally new student this year - her name's Mabby. She's the only person from the Second Year I knew ever since my grandmother died.

But one big thing's for sure - today, was when I got in to our car after our dismissal, when me and my sister were already fetched home, OMG! I first heard it on the radio!!! It's my favorite first day song, "The Time of My Life" from my one and only boy.. :) And it was only almost three weeks after its release last May 22nd. It's totally one big happening during school's first day, because that song best describes today!!!

..and so does this blog, as the title says.

Here's my list of expectations for this school year of '08-09..

TEACHERS - They won't be boring while giving us lessons, because I'm sure they will mix learning with fun! That makes school even more enjoyable! And by the way, our new batch of teachers were way better than the ones last year..

CLASSMATES - I'm so sure we'll be pretty close with many of us and have a good friendship, even though it didn't work much at first.. Besides, I was thinking that my social status will be just the same as last year's.. which I don't like ^ ^.. but only without my close friend who is a returning student (we have 3!) this year.

SUBJECTS - They may be more difficult this year (of course, It's second year!), I may still be able to find it easy if i will just only work hard on it.

OTHER - My much-awaited expected 3-day absence (5-day stay) in Boracay from August 6-10, as promised, for my uncle and aunt's church wedding.

..in other words: TEACHERS - fun and not boring! CLASSMATES - close to almost all! SUBJECTS - difficult but can find it easy! and I would likely say this..
OTHER - you'll expect me... to be absent for 3 school days! Because I'm in Boracay from Aug. 6-10 and will be back by the 11th. Sorry everyone :)

Meet our new teacher, Ms. Mae..

-Two things you need to know about her-
1) She's an MIS alumna, and she graduated from high school in 2001.
2) She's only 24 years old (born May 11th, 1984), being one of the youngest teachers in the whole campus - which means that we almost have 4 months to share the age of someone special.. who could it be?? He's turning 24 by January 31st next year.

I guess today was only just a big reunion for all the MIS students, after all..
We've got an extra summer day tomorrow!
