aug. 31 - araw ng wika

our araw ng wika was the happiest day of this month! although i'm feeling so, ahem, sick... every night..., i still manage to attend school to trade back (return our things) with, tazie.

i, and my siblings too, were late for school that morning. i was thinking that i will be going to miss the opening of the play by the t.a.g. (theatre arts guild) club, which i would rather join that club next year.

but later on... the fun was about to start...

..when i watched the play which started with a dance number. then comes the choir comprised by 4 kids from elementary who are good in declamation. that was when sultan makatunaw appeared. i was shocked but bored later on at that scene!

i like the scene when paraluman and tagumpay appeared. and the fighting scene between tagumpay and makatunaw, when tagumpay decided to kill makatunaw but the sultan's second wife, martina, killed him. yes. you saw it!!! killed him!!! would you believe? but later on, she cried in grief of her spouse. then later on, when paraluman knew her real mother, amihan, she suddenly died.

i like the cast's acting (that i cant help it but even add them on friendster =D).

i like the ending scene, then the credits, then later on, the whole cast had a dance number of the song tara tena, also the theme song of a tv show of the same title, and it was very nice! i'm lovin' it!

the following activity was the palaro ng lahi, where we play traditional filipino games, starting with the relay on sack, 'coconut' stilts (the only game where i joined), and eating of eggs, then the long-running patintero, and the last game, the tug-of-war. i saw my brother in the gym while the game is going, but too bad the first year was only, fourth place?!..maybe.

salu-salo was the las activity for today and i bring barbecue instead of ice cream(because it will melt), but i didn't eat even one!!! well, some of my classmates did like it!

i ate a lot of sushi during that part!!! how japa-nice!!!

so that's it...

..i'll give the rating for today a 3-star, because i only joined one game (and not joining the tug-of-war where my brother saw all of us) and that even tonight, i got sick again, and can i also include my tardiness that morning...

but for the play, to tag, i think i'll give you a 5!!!!!
